Le Transat campsite is ideally located in the heart of the ile d’Oléron, in a natural, shady area, just 5 minutes from white sandy beaches and the port du Douhet; you’ll love the quiet setting, its family-friendly atmosphere and range of prices, designed to suit all budgets.
Discover our range of accommodation, including exclusive chalets, mobile homes and tent-lodges, not to mention camping pitches for tents, caravans and camper vans, set in 3 hectares of flower-filled, leafy grounds. Sophie and Etienne welcome visitors to the ile d'Oléron from April to October for breaks of two days or more in low season or full weeks in high season.
You can enjoy the heated paddling pool and swimming pool as well as the educational farm.
The ile d’Oléron, which is linked to the mainland by a free, 3km bridge, is one of the most beautiful islands on the Atlantic coast with 80 km of sandy coastline, a lot of cycle paths and forests that will delight walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Discover the cycle paths here !

Le Transat Campsite, formerly known as La Maurie, was recently taken over by Etienne and Sophie Lecomte and is part of a great family venture. The new team will do their utmost to ensure you enjoy an excellent holiday on the ile d'Oléron. There’s no need to worry about planning visits, researching activities or preparing meals! We can offer all-inclusive packages for those who are interested!
Sophie, who is originally from La Rochelle and Etienne, who was born on the ile d’Oléron will be able to advise you on the best walks and offer tips to ensure you enjoy an unforgettable holiday.
